Please help for my studies

Hi Everyone,

My name is Henry and I'm a Master of Computing student at Unitec New Zealand
(www.unitec.ac.nz). I'm currently doing my Thesis titled: "Utilizing
Newsgroups as Customer Support Tool in Software Development Companies". This
research is about whether or not Newsgroups are effective for providing
customer support with low cost.

This is **strictly** academic, non-profit research, only doing it to
complete my degree. You are encouraged to contact to my institute (Unitec
New Zealand (www.unitec.ac.nz)) to verify my student details, if you ever
have any doubts.

For more information about my research, please visit my research page:
http://hyperdisc.unitec.ac.nz/postgr...ysite/home.asp

I'm surveying the customers of software companies who use newsgroups to get
solution to their problems. I'm surveying 50 customers per company. However,
with the amount of newsgroups available at Microsoft news site, I'm only
surveying 4 people from this particular newsgroup.

The survey is only 12 questions so it shouldn't take more than 5 mins or so.
And this survey is **totally anonymous**.

NOTE: I would like people with at least 1 year experience (Getting
solutions for their problems) using newsgroups, to answer my survey.

To participate in the survey...
- Go to: http://hyperdisc.unitec.ac.nz/postgr...ysite/home.asp
- Click on "Start Survey" on the top-left of the page
- Enter the User Code (pick on below)
- Click Continue

Below are the user codes for 4 people (One line per code)...
E5C0C180-ECE3-438F-B508-6DC330332EFF

DC16FC3C-76C6-4F11-9073-3AA9573623CD

If you ever had any doubts on what questions are being asked, you can view
the questions beforehand by entering "Guest-User" (without quotes) in the
User Code field and browse around the survey pages. After you've satisfied
with the questions being asked, you can use one of the User Codes provided
above and answer the survey.

Thank you all for taking the time to even read this post. If any 4 of you
can answer my survey, it'll help towards completing my research and I'll be
very much appreciated!

Greetings, I noticed that there have been a number of case studies done with regard to .NET technologies being used on various sites (http://www.microsoft.com/net/casestudies). Given that our website uses this technology (XPunch.com), I was wondering if anyone could advise me on how to go about getting our website featured in the aforementioned reference as a case study. Does anyone know which

Hi- this is the project that will not end! (sure you've all been there). I had originally purchased a php/css nav bar for the client, but it was buggy as hell, so I decided to do in css, in which I am still a novice, I am afraid. You can see the sample nav bar at www.tangerine-sky.com/horizontal_nav.html (I am pasting source code below) It's very simple, has the css included in the page ... works fine on a mac, okay on firefox on a PC but...

Friends, your opinions and advice, please: I have a very simple JavaScript image-swap which works on my end but when uploaded to my host at http://buildit.sitesell.com/sunnyside.html does not work. To rule out all possible factors, I made up a dummy page for an index.html to upload, along the lines of <html><head><title></title></ head><body></body></html>.; the image-swap itself is your basic <img src="blah.png"...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
