Hi,
I have a collection object which i am binding to a ASP.Net datagrid. Columns
are not appearing in the proper sequence as I would like it to appear on
datagrid. I know I can modify the columns definition in data grid to change
the order as I want and also by setting AutoGenerate columns to false. But I
am wondering is there a way I can set the order at collection level?
I have implemented the iList interface at collection.

Hi,
I'm trying to bind a custom collection class to a data grid, following the
guidelines from the article
http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/05/08/CollectionsandDataBinding/default.aspx.
The problem is the article is in VisualBasic. I already get the collection
to be recognized as a Data Source by the IDE. It populated the DataGrid
correctly from the fields on the items object of the collection, but I can't
get the DataGrid to...

I have seen several people looking for a way to access the Columns
collection when using the AutoGenerateColumns = true option. Some
people have gotten so far as to find the private autoGenColumnsArray
that has the information, but we as developers have no way to access
this information.
I have come up with a solution for the problem, (as I am sure many
others have) using reflection. Here is some sample code that will
print out the...

Accessing Items in a Collection works with the as suggested by Kevin and
Chris (thx)
But when i tried to use the same technic with databinding within the aspx
file, it doesn't seem to work.
This is the aspx part that i am talking about
<asp:DataGrid id="dgThreads" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False">
<Columns>
<asp:TemplateColumn HeaderText="Databases">

I'm currently trying to add an ASP hyperlink to a
template column in a datagrid. The normal hyperlink
column doesn't give me the ability to add attributes to
the item. In my grid there are four columns. Three are
databound to a dataset and one is a template column. I
need to be able to access each item in the template
column (getting access to the hyperlink) then adding an
attribute to call some client side code. Does anyone
know...

I would like to have one column in my DataGrid that content acts as a
hyperlink.
In addition to that I would like that the content is databound to a DataSet
source.
If I create a hyperlink column in VS.NET I loose the databinding feature for
that column. If I choose a data bound column I don't get the hyperlink
formatting and actions.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
