IPP print - csharp gurus

J M
How do I go about writing HttpWebRequest to get IPP printer status request
from remote printer? I have been running ippprint utility but it's not
working across proxy servers so I have to write up my own monitoring tool:

I guess here is HTTP send and receive from local print server?

C:\TEMP\IPP>ipp print -v -s -p http://192.168.1.200:631/ipp/port1 test.1
Sending file test.1
About to send the following request:

Message contents
Version=0x100
operation id/status code=2 (0x2) Print-Job
request id=100 (0x64)
Attributes
Attrs group: Op
charset: attributes-charset: utf-8
naturalLanguage : attributes-natural-language: en-us
uri: printer-uri: http://192.168.1.200:631/ipp/port1
name: job-name: ippprint document
name: document-name: ippprint document
name: requesting-user-name: ippprint user
mimeMediaType: document-format: text/plain
Print job successfully submitted. Response status code: 0
Received the following response from IPP printer:

Message contents
Version=0x100
operation id/status code=0 (0x0) successful-OK
request id=100 (0x64)
Attributes
Attrs group: Op
charset: attributes-charset: utf-8
naturalLanguage : attributes-natural-language: en-us

Attrs group: Job0
uri: job-uri: /ipp/port1/job-3303
integer: job-id: 3303
enum: job-state: 9
=============== =============== =========

Sample code would be greatly appriciated for startup.

TIA!

Greetings to the Python gurus, I have a binary file and wish to see the "raw" content of it. So I open it in binary mode, and read one byte at a time to a variable, which will be of the string type. Now the problem is how to print the binary format of that charater to the standard output. It seems a common task but I just cannot find the appropriate method from the documentation. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I have to print Datagrids (result of DB-Queries) as well formed as seen on the screen. So I use tab-signs to seperate the columns and create a file. But the tabs are not printed (only a space) when I print this file (via PrintDocument. Print()). What's wrong? thanks ew

VB had a neat object called "Debug". You could use "Debug.Print()" in your code, and you could get useful debugging information in the immediate window. Is there something like this in CSharp? Dom

Hello Perl Gurus! I'm quite a perl neophyte so I'm looking for help understanding why print doesn't print correctly. This may be a totally stupid error.... He is my program. What it is doing is parsing a file of comma seperated values and trying to extract the address field every time the clock field transitions from a zero to a one. #! /usr/bin/perl

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
