Can you tell me what exactlly you want to do?
If you only want to show a customized modal dialog, I think the simplest
way is using Form.ShowDialog () to show a customized form.
Does this way meet your need? If it does not meet your need, please show me

Not really, what I really want to do is to show my own form using the common
dialog class as the base class. For example I want to display an options
dialog having the same properties as the common dialog class, where do I put
the code to show my form using the common dialog class as my base class. Is
there some hook or a method to override etc. How is it done in the Save
dialog/Open file dialog and color dialog, they share a common base class but
have different dialogs which is what I want to achieve.

Hi all,
I wanted to put some common security functions into a class that inherits
from the Page class and then use the new class as the basis for all my pages.
Unfortunately, if I try and inherit from my new SecurePage class and not
the old Page class, the designer breaks and will only allow me into html

I have tried for two days to solve this problem with no luck.
I have a singleton class which has some events declared. When I inherit
from this class the events don't seem to come along with it.
The event in the singleton class always evaluates to null even when I cleary
subscribe to it.
Does anyone have some sample code of how to do this, or is this not possible.

In the asp.net pages below, Common.vb has an overridable Page_Load sub. In
the consuming page, Two.aspx, the Page_Load sub is inherited, but for some
reason it (Overrides Sub Page_Load) executes twice.
In another "regular" asp.net page that inherits only from its own codebehind
page, the page load only executes once as you'd expect.
Any ideas why the page_load fires twice in the former example?
