I've read about this issue in many articles across the net... But haven't
found a solution. I see all kinds of custom code to perform sorting with
datagrids, but my example is so simple, I must just be missing something.
Basically, I have a .aspx page that is very simple and has a simple
datagrid. All code is in the .cs page for the datagrid (hence, I'm doing all
datagrid work programmatically). The datagrid is populated from a SQL table...

Hi

Edit/Update functionality for each row. On the same page I
have 2 Button controls which submits the request to
server. These button controls are Web Control & not HTML
control. One of these buttons whose title is Delete is
added on the aspx page in design view & also I double
clicked on this button in design view to get the onclick
code for this button in the code behind page. & for...

I have a datagrid populated with 6 visible read-only
labels and several hidden fields. Below the datagrid, I
have a table with various textboxes, dropdowns, etc. I've
managed to decypher the client-side coding needed for the
user to click a "select" button (HTMLButton) in column 0
of the datagrid and have the table objects auto-fill with
corresponding values from the dataset row in the datagrid
without making a roundtrip to the server.

Is there a way to carry data that I have already read from the datagrid from
page to page?
I am looking at my Datagrid that I page through and when the user says get
the next page, I have to go to the database to get the next page. Is there
a way to use the dataset to allow us to read back and forth in it instead of
going back to the database to get it?
Thanks,

Im working with VS 2005 and trying to use a Hyperlink field in a datagrid to
play a wave file that is not located in the website folders but is in a plain
folder on the same machine, windows 2003 server, WMP 10.0 .
If I type the full path in an IE address field it plays the file in WMP
When I test my Web page ( running the debugger in VS.)
The datagrid has a column called "MsgFile" with the full path to the wave
file e.g....

Thanks in advance...I have what seems like it should be a simple thing
for a DataGrid. What I'll be using this for is for a user to choose an
employee record on the datagrid then hit the detail button or link and
launch a new window showing the details for that specific employee. So
my query string needs to pickup the employee's ID and take it to a
details window.Unfortunately I'm using 1.1 and the number of fields I
may need to display is...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
