Hi,
Both the methods below open up a windows form called MasterForm. However, one works better than the other. Method 1 opens the form correctly but I don't have any reference to the instance of master form. Method 2 opens the form but when I right click on the Notify Icon I don't get the context menu that I should be seeing. I can interact with the main form window but I cannot interact with the NotifyIcon. Method 2 gives a object reference...

i am doing a project which requires me to provide a security login
feature.
i understand that access has a user level security feature but i could
not use it coz i'm tested on my ability to use existing controls.
i did the login form, then it occured to me that it would be much more
convenient for users to change passwords themselves without needing the
administrator to change for them.

I have a couple of textboxes of TextMode=Password.
When I press submit, if there is an error on the page and it is redisplayed,
all the fields are there except for the Password fields. They get cleared.
This is very irritating to the user who may have to fill in 10 fields and
put the wrong type of date in, for example, and then have to put the
Passwords again.
Is there a way to prevent this?

I have designed a site that requires users to login. Me being new to
php, I hired a guy to help me setup the database. He set it up and it
works flawlessly. Well.. instead of helping me finish the project, he
has pretty much dissapeared.
Looking at the code, the passwords are stored using Md5 encryption in
the database. I was able to get a password retrieval form working,
but its sending the passwords encrypted.

Can anyone give me a couple pointers on safely clearing the logs? We have an
extremely active environment and I am worried that even after I dump all the
entries a dozen or so new ones will be created before I can call the Clear
method. If this happens I am guessing that I will throw away any entries
that get created between the time my dump process finishes and the time I
call Clear. How can I safely clear only those entries that I know...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
