My secnario involves two tables - ObservationRegister, and Person.
ObservationRegister contains most of the "useful" fields, including
the UserID of the person that raised the record, and the UserID of the

I am trying to write a query that "just" switches some data around so
it is shown in a slightly different format. I am already able to do
what I want in Oracle 8i, but I am having trouble making it work in

Hi, I have an application that opens a Crystal report document and
passes in a value to a parameter in the report (pointing to an Oracle
DB). However, if I want to pass a "null" value to retrieve all records
that have no data for the specified field that the parameter is a
condition of (ie. SELECT * from <table> where <field> is null"), it
returns nothing. I think CR is building the SQL statement like "SELECT
* from <table> where <field>...

Okay so I've been tearing my hair out for weeks over this issue. What I have is a Crystal Report that's showing a table pulled from an Access Database. The database is a HUGE pile of junk and it has a text based Date field!! Unbelievable.
This causes my Crystal Report a bunch of problems as I have to convert the date text data to date and compare it to the user inputted date to find records between the inputted dates. All would be swell if...
