Hi,
I have not understand the problem. Before all the coding with few
application everything worked perfectly. Now I am developing Cheque Writing
application and when the cheque is clear the user have to open a form and
entera date so we know in report that the desiered check has been cleared. It
takes me while to wrtie.
But when I try to update the datagrid changes via dataset to MS Access 2003

I am having problems with updating the changes done over a DataSet to a
Database.
All the changes being done using the Form are stored in the Dataset, but
when i decide to close the Form and open the form again, the changes are lost.
Also, the modification process works great, but adding or deleting a row
doesn't work.
I am using a SQLDataAdapter to manage all the
insert/delete/modification/select over the table.

Hi all,
I have created 2 tables in sql database and join these 2 tables before
assign the result to the dataset, and display the result in datagrid.
Everything is fine up to this point. The problem come up when I want to
delete one of rows in datagrid and update the change to the
corresponding table.
The error msg show up "Dynamic SQL generation is not supported against
multiple base tables."

Hello,
I have 2 tables with a relationship set up in the dataset with vb
..net. I add a new record to the parent table then edit an existing child
record to have the new parent ID. However when I do the update the changed
parentid in the child table fails to change. No error is given its just that
the change is not written to the Database.
When I step through the records for the child table the one I would expect

I keep getting a concurrency exception the second time I make a change and
attempt to update a dataadapter. It appears this is by design, so there must
be something I can do to avoid it.
Example:
I have a dataadapter that contains one table with one row. I change the
value of the 'FisrtName' column in that row from Jack to John. I call
..update on the dataadapter it goes through fine. Now I change that same
column in that same row...

I have a stored procedure which generates some values in the table.
When I use update() how to populate the dataset with theses values ?
For the moment I use output parameter but it just works for 1 row and as the
dataset doesn't have the value I should put it after and the rowstate goes
to "modified"...
Any ideas ?
