Hi,
I'm tring to add a column to a datagrid with a linkbutton as header that can
be used to sort the column. The column and the linkbutton are added
programmatically (see below). However the problem is that when you click the
added column header it doesn't trigger the sort.
The code :
<%@ Page language="c#" Codebehind="WebForm1.aspx.cs" AutoEventWireup="false"

How do I format only the Header text (column names) in a DataGrid? Consider the following code snippet:
<asp:DataGrid id="myDataGrid" GridLines="both" AutoGenerateColumns="false" runat="server">
<Columns>
<asp:TemplateColumn HeaderText="Name">
<ItemTemplate>
<asp:Label id="fname" Text=<%# Container.DataItem("FirstName") %> runat="server"/>
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>
<asp:BoundColumn HeaderText="Address" DataField="Address"...

I have been trying to figure out what the Datagrid is doing to create its
formatting.
I found that some of my Datagrids have a 3D type of border and sometime it
has a straight line. I finally found that it comes down to whether there is
a "rules=all" attribute (which gives me just a thin black line). If that
attribute is not there, you get a 3D effect.
I haven't yet been able to figure out what causes it. Here is the table def
that...

I have defined a datagrid. This datagrid has a fixed header and
scrollable body. I have defined vertical gridlines in the datagri
properties - I assumed these vertical lines would be in both the heade
and the body of the grid. The problem is the vertical gridlines ar
appearing in the body of the datagrid, but not in the header. I'v
tried setting all different kinds of properties in the <headerstyle> t
get the vertical lines, but...

Visual Studio 2003
My problem is that I am dynamically creating a datagrid on pageload.
The datagrid is completely dynamic as it is based on the number of columns
returned from a recordset. The number of columns could change very often.
Within this datagrid that is created, each cell needs to be colored
different colors based on a the value within the cell. For example, if the
number is less than 90, color the cell red, if it is...

I'd like there to be a border around each row of my data-grid but NOT between
the columns. I've tried setting
BorderColor="Black"
BorderStyle="Solid"
BorderWidth="1px"
ItemStyle-BorderColor="Black"
ItemStyle-BorderStyle="Solid"
ItemStyle-BorderWidth="1px"

I have 3 datagrids on one form.
I can set the row color based on a certain value in a column. However this
color applies to all 3 datagrida. I would like to set it so that
if value of column 3 in datagrid 1 is < 100 set to red, if = 100 set to green
if value of column 3 in datagrid 2 is < 90 set to red, if >= 90 set to green
if value of column 3 in datagrid 3is < 80 set to red,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
