Hi,
I am wondering that the Application Name in Virtual Directory is compulsory
be non-empty field when configuring Virtual Directory for ASP.NET application?
I realized some of my ASP.NET applications can run with empty Application
Name, but some cannot.
Is the Application Name must be same as the xxx.DLL file name in BIN folder
and Inherits="xxx.Login" in aspx? (xxx is the name I am referring to)?

selectively using XSL (all files updated today or last MOnday, files from
several drirectories in alphabetical order, things like that).

I am running on Window 2003. I have a website built in ASP.NET 2.0. I need to
have a Virtual Directory running an application in 1.1. I have configured
each in its own Application Pool. The 1.1 application picks up and parses the
2.0 web.config. It is complaining about the connectionstrings node. If I

Hi,
I created a new directory on my WinXP-Pro/SP2 file system. Then I
created a virtual directory in IIS pointing to that local directory.
After completing that, I noticed that I had a mispelling in the name
of the parent directory of that local directory.
I "improved" the situation by creating a correctly-spelled peer of that
parent directory. Then I dragged my new local directory from its

I've installed Apache 1.3.36 on my Redhat EL 3 machine. Now I'm trying
to install PHP 5.1.4. I can not get the ./configure command to work. I
keep getting this error:
configure: error: Invalid Apache directory - unable to find httpd.h
under /usr/local/apache/include

I found a real nice article on how to copy a directory on MSDN. The
only problem is that I can not figure out how to get the namespace
Microsoft.VisualBasic.MyServices. I wanted to know if anyone else has
had experience with this, or knows of a different way to copy a
directory using VB.
I found ways to copy files, but not having a lot of luck with finding a
way to copy a directory other then this information I am finding on
MSDN.

I just finished writing my first php script that manipulates a simple
shopping cart on a mySql database. I started with an example I found
on the web. The example hardcodes the database server, name, user, and
password in a php include file. This file is then included in every
php script that needs access to the database.
How do I make this scheme secure? I assume this is ok as long as this
file remains inaccessible on the webserver....

I have the following problem:
a program, located on drive a known drive (for example lets say drive C:) needs to execute a program on an unknown different drive (a USB device which doesn't have the same drive letter in each PC).
Locating this program isn't the problem, I'm just letting my main application check the root directory's of all drives currently in use (i know the name and that it's in the root directory).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
