Hi,
We are developing an asp.net application, and we dynamically created certain literal controls to represent some read-only text for certain editable controls. However, recently we found an issue which is related to the repeater. In the code shown below, if I call Repeater1.Controls.Count in the OnInit (the code fragment was highlighted in yellow) , the viewstate for the repeater will be lost during the postback. You can re-produce this...

Hi All,
I have a functioning datagrid on "Page 1" that displays order information
for a single order (this is for an e-commerce site). It's actually a
combination of a couple datagrids to display all of the information.
I now have a need to drop this datagrid into a repeater on "Page 2". The
repeater will grab ALL orders within a given date range and output the
datagrids for each order. Remember, the Page 1 is built to display one...

*sigh*...I've asked this before, but have long forgotten the answer.
In the past, I'd often use repeater controls, bind data to it, and then
reference the data fields from within the repeater:
<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "agentMobilePhone") %>
More recently, I've been doing more of the building on the codebehind side,
creating a string builder and building the table from there. When doing
that, I access the data like this:

I have a repeater, which contains in its <HEADERTEMPLATEa drop-down
list (set to autopostback).
If the page is a postback, I want to modify the SQL of the repeater's
datasource, DEPENDING ON the value of the drop-down list.
However, I can't evaluate the drop-down list submission at Page_Load,
because the repeater has not yet been databound or rendered, so
effectively the drop-down list doesn't yet exist.

Hi,
I have a dropdownlist which is repeated inside a repeater. What I'm
wanting is for when one instance of the dropdownlist has its selection
changed, for 1) this to trigger an 'OnSelectedIndexChanged'
subroutine, and 2) for that subroutine to be able to somehow identify
which 'row' of the repeater the dropdownlist belongs to.
To keep things simple, I'm posting just the relevant parts of the code
below...

OK, I am still trying to achieve something like what is shown in the
following PNG image.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2066/1808692173_ea202973a3_o.png
I thought about doing this with a plain Table server control, but the
problem is that this control does not provide enough events for us to
identify the row in which the button is clicked.
See a discussion I initiated in the following thread:

Hi there,
I've been trying to implement a repeater control in an ASP.NET 2 page
but I can't seem to get the layout exactly how I want and I'm not sure
if it's something that I am doing wrong or maybe the repeater control
doesn't have the capabilities...?
The page needs to display a custom number of sections that appear the
same but have different data..

ONU (Optical Network Unit) is one of the key components for providing high-speed Internet services. Its primary function is to act as an endpoint device located at the user's premises. However, people are often confused as to whether an ONU can Work As a Router. In this blog post, we’ll explore What is ONU, What Is Router, ONU & Router’s main usage, and What is the difference between ONU and Router. Let’s take a closer look !

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
