Insertion sort is O(N^2), but I figure I can get it in to O(N log2 N)
if the inside loop of the insertion sort is replaced with a binary
search. However, I'm having some implimentation problems...
void insertsort(int a, int n)
{
int i, j, index;
for (i=0; i < n; i++)
{
index = a;

i need to store a lot of integers(say 10,000) in a datastructure.
The constraints are:
1. It should be fast.
2. It should be orderded or sorted.
3.Insterting and deleting should be fast.
4. The no. of elements can change at runtime and hence it should be dynamic.
Right now i am using SortedVector , but it is very slow.
So, can u pls suggest a suitable Datastructure.

I am trying to sort a linked list using insertion sort. I have seen a
lot of ways to get around this problem but no time-efficient and
space-efficient solution. This is what I have so far:
struct node
{
int x;
struct node *next;
};

Good afternoon,
I need some advice on the following:
I've got a class that has a member
std::vector<CStringm_vFileName and a member CString m_path;
The vector contains a bunch of filenames with no path included
(no C:\...) eg: my_file2.jpg, my_file1.bmp, etc...
and m_path stores the path, eg: C:\folder1
I want to sort this vector according to different criterion, such as

I have an ordered list e.g. x = , and given any
positive integer y, I want to determine its appropriate position in
the list (i.e the point at which I would have to insert it in order to
keep the list sorted. I can clearly do this with a series of if
statements:
if y<x:
n = 0
elif y < x:
n = 1

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
