databinding in a listview

Bom
Hi,

I like to bind a collection to a listview-control.
So the listview-control must behave like a datagrid.

Is there somebody who has some code (C#) to do that or to
extends the listview-control?

Thanks,
Bom

Hi I am using Listview and inherited listview control overriding WndProc & PreProcessMessage in ListView. I need this to customize listview to display only the page the user scrolls to. Since i am populating listview with more than 200,000 items. It is too slow and tried virtual listview. But that doesnot allow me to add images in the listview. So now trying to list only the page user scrolls to.

Hey, I have a collection with custom objects. That collection is bounded to a listview (I used the article of Lhotka). The listview is also sortable. I have also textboxes bound to the same collection. When SelectedIndexChanged fires on the listview, I have to set the position of the currencymanager so the textboxes

In a ListView control (two columns), I added a few ListView items. ListView listview=new ListView(); listview.Parent=this; listview.View=View.Details; listview.Columns.Add ("Col1",200,HorizontalAlignment.Left); listview.Columns.Add ("Col2",800,HorizontalAlignment.Left);

Hello, I am thinking of a general solution to the specific issue and I hope someone has some more experience on that. Up to now I use the ListView as the primary control for collections of items. Unfortunately, the ListView behaves sluggishly with large amounts of data. That's why I think of using DataGrid instead. The DataGrid in my application should be databinded to a memory

We have been noticing that questions on vs.2005/2.0 don't appear to get much in answers so I'm reposting some questions posted by some of the programmers here in our organization that never got answered... In 1.1 we always did our own myDataAdapter.fills and we liked that control for lots of good reasons. Now the new DataSource (or is it a TableAdapter:Dataset) automatically fills the Gridview. How can we control that fill? In a...

Hi, Working with the new ListView control seems pretty straightforward. For some reason, using ASP.NET's databinding syntax (i.e. <%# DataHere %>) in the control's layouttemplate doesn't work. Is there any way of making it work? If not, is it possible to create a derived control that enables this functionality? Thanks, Roshawn

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
