Dear all..
I have a picturebox filled on a form. The picturebox has some
graphics displayed on it.I was trying to save the picturebox, but
continuesly failed to do so. I am clueless of why it is happening. I
tried to save the image of the form & also the picturebox, but always,
i see a blank file saved. Is there a way to save whatever is displayed
on the picturebox, to a file??

I wish to manually move widgets in Tkinter, now I have successfully done it,
but with odd results, I would like to move the widgets with a much smoother
manner, and better precision.

I am attempting to install the MSDE (SQL 2000) as a part of our application.
This requires that you run the MSDE setup.exe program from a Console mode
application, it just hangs forever part way through if executed from a
standard application.
My question is:
How can I make my console mode install application resize it's window or
minimize. The code below is what I'm currently trying which doesn't work...

I have a requirement to put a GDI style circle or rectangle border around
the selected row of a datagrid/ It will overlap into the row above and below
the selected row. Doing this in a the OnPaint of a subclassed
DataGridTextBoxColum dos not seem like a practical way to do it.

I want to start an app, and at the same time control where it is placed. I
use the following code, but it doesn't seem to work. The MoveWindow call
doesn't move the window. What am I doing wrong? Isn't the shell function
supposed to return the handle to the window? Or is this just a process id
and
am I then supposed to make another call to translate this into a window
handle? Or what else is wrong?

Is it possible to change the size of a Windows object (in this case a
PictureBox) without calling MoveWindow?
I'm writing a plugin for Winamp, in which I want to display a smooth
bar that displays a continuously changing output value.
In this Winamp plugin I cannot use the SendMessage command because it
causes lockups with Winamp. I _can_ use SendDlgItemMessage.

Hi,
Background:
I am taking a render window from another application and placing it upon a
panel in my c# application.
This is done by getting the handle to the window of interest then setting
it's parent to be my panel and moving the window over the panel as follows:
w32.MoveWindow(foreignWindowHandle, 0, 0,myPanel.Width, myPanel.Height, true);
w32.SetParent(foreignWindowHandle, myPanel.Handle);

I'm currently writing a replacement shell and am suffering from quite dire memory leaks, when running, every time I roll my mouse over the taskbar icon a new window scrolls out revealing the window's caption and then on WM_MOUSELEAVE the window closes again. somehow this process also increases my program's private working set by 40K (using SysInternals' Process Explorer) Any help would be appreciated.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
