Positioning Grid - Turning On and Off

I couldn't find any postings on how to turn the VS.Net positioning grid on
and off in the Google archives, so I'm adding this posting for future
reference.

The VS.Net positioning grid is controlled for particular WinFowms via
properties. The 'SnapToGrid' property controls grid-snapping, the 'DrawGrid'
property controls display of the grid, and the 'Gridsize' property controls
the spacing of the grid. Defaults for new Winforms can be set in the Options
dialog, Windows Form Designer, General item.

HI I have some controls under a datagrid and the datagrid can have 1 to 10 items. I would like to place some other controls just below the datagrid so need to somehow dynamically place the controls when the page loads. Any sample code or ideas? thanks. -- Paul G Software engineer.

still trying to figure out how to do this as I have a grid that gets data from a dbase and can change in size. I have controls that I always want to be just below the grid, with no gaps. This is a webform so thinking html may take care of it. When only a few items are returned to the grid I get, datagrid <<< gap, large blank space>>>> other controls.

Hello, Having been a light reader of this ng for a few months now (after several years absence), I have noticed that absolute positioning seems to be considered a Very Bad Thing around here. Generally, when someone posts a question about a design that uses it, they are told not to. Now, in my ignorance, I don't see what's wrong with it, when used sensibly. Let me say straight off that I am *not* talking about trying to produce...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
