Trying to decide which subscription to go for.
Having a look at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/levels/default.asp
I can see there are the differences but are there more than this displays?
The reason for my question is that I seem to remember that there was more
controls (and utilities) included in the enterprise version of Visual Studio
6 than a copy of Visual Basic 6 Professional.

What is the proper method for setting up visual studio
2003 to store and run solutions on a windoes 2003
webserver?
Using vstudio enterprise on a WinXP client. Major issue
is that SafeSource says it can't check out .aspx items.
Any docs on how to configure this? I guess it would be
the same for deploying a solution to win2003 Server.

I'm working to upgrade an ASP web app with a Microsoft
Access 2003 db to ASP.NET v2 with a SQL Express db.
I don't have a lot of experience with SQL Server db's, but
would prefer the new app use that over Access for performance
reasons.

Professional, but am unsure whether to get them with the MSDN
Subscription or not.
I've been looking on the MS website here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa718657.aspx
which compares the different options, but it hasn't really answered my
question.

I seem to remember a few years ago we purchased an MSDN Subcription for one
of our developers as an "Upgrade" to a retail boxed standalone Visual
Studio.NET 2003 that we had purchased. Does anyone know if this is still
possible and hopefully provide a link? The info on the MSDN site of all the

I am getting a Visual studio 2008 IDE application R6034 runtime error. This
means that the IDE application is raising the error not the application I am
building. This means that Microsoft did not follow its own advice as listed
in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms235560(VS.80).aspx and "build
