Processing a previous text file (add spaces and new lines to it...)

I have this unformated text file, "demo.txt". ..

Now I need to be able to process it...

By, processing it, I mean...

After every 2 characters in the file, add 1 space, " "...
Now there should be 28 groupes of characters and 27 spaces dividing
them.

After that continue to the end of the file, but after 28 groupes are
made start a new line...

so 28 groups of 2 characters each, with 27 spaces between PER LINE.

it's rather simple I would think, but I'm not farmilar with streamReader
or Writer...

Could somebody hook me up? thanks in advance...

Hello. I am trying to read a small text file using the readline statement. I can only read the first 2 records from the file. It stops at the blank lines or at lines with only spaces. I have a while statement checking for an empty string "" which I understand represents an EOF in Python. The text file has some blank lines with spaces and other with blanks. Thanks a lot.

Hello, I have a multithreaded windows NT service application (vb.net 2003) that I am working on (my first one), which reads a message queue and creates multiple threads to perform the processing for long running reports. When the processing is complete it uses crystal reports to load a template file, populate it, and then export it to a PDF. It works fine so far....

Alright guys, so the title explains exactly my goal. The truth is I'm going to be reading in a lot of data from an xml file. The file is too large and there's too much data to store in arraylists without running out of memory, so I'm reading and as I'm reading I'm going to write to a file. This is the thing though, I already can do this and have it done, but I want to modify the program so you can choose what data you want to take out. To...

Analysing text files to obtain statistics on their content You are to write a Perl program that analyses text files to obtain statistics on their content. The program should operate as follows: 1) When run, the program should check if an argument has been provided. If not, the program should prompt for, and accept input of, a filename from the keyboard. 2) The filename, either passed as an argument or input from the keyboard, should...

I've tried quite a few things to get this correct but have hit a couple of sticking points that I can't figure out. I need to ge the Text box to function like the 'wraplength' option in a Label. I've been able to adjust the height of the text by calculating the number of lines needed to display the text. That's fairly simple. I know the number of characters in the text and width of the box (which is static). From that point I can...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
