We load a table from a text file using Data Transformation Services. The
source file is already sorted by primary key order.
After the DTS load, the default retrieval order on the target table (select
* from targettable) appears to be random. I know that theoretically the

I have a web page writen in ASP.NET that contains some javascript so that
when a user presses a button, or edits a certain field in a datagrid, another
cell in the datagrid is filled with a value.
My probelm.... when I have the user press the update button (which does a
post back that loops through the datagrid and updates a database) the

I liked the DataGrid because I was familiar in walking through it to do
custom filling and retrieval of data in cases where standard binding
wouldn't do the job.
I read somewhere that the object model is the same for the datagrid and the
gridview. But as I begin to try to manually load a gridview I notice that
there is no such thing as a GridViewItem as there was a DataGridItem. So,
it's not the same.

I'm creating a simple Windows application using VB. The application use a form to add, update, delete records in addition i've included a DataGrid to display the activity done in the table. The problem is that no matter what action is performed when DataGrid is reloaded it does not reflect the activity done in the file unless I stop the program and reload it again where data is reflected in the DataGrid.
