I have a batch file named GetConf.bat.
It contains a line like this:
ipconfig /all >c:\MyAppDir\IPdata.txt
I believe I could run the line with something
like ShellWait by Terry Kreft. Any reason I
should run the procedure via a batch file
call as opposed to launching the command
string directly?

hi all,
I would like to understand which are the best ways to send bulk
mailings like for newsletters and so on ( not spamming, always to
receivers who opt-in ).
I am not looking for code for now , I have found some very interesting
classes and I also have my own scripts, I just want to know all the
options available and why one is better of another .

I have to send out 2500 e-mails to student survey recipients. The
e-mails will appear to come from the specific departments that they
belong to. I'm utilizing PHPmailer in the scripts I wrote to
accomplish this. I've written several pages to edit emails utilizing
placeholders so each individual email can be personalized for the
recipient, and selection page to choose recipients from the database.
The code I've written works just fine...

I recently sent out a mail shot to a number of members of a loyalty
club. The trouble was that the script would sent a certain number of
mails and then hang. It took me several tries to send all the mails.
Can anyone recommend a method of extracting email addresses from a
database and then sending a customised mail to each. The client needs
to be able to compose an email, select a number of parameters (which
will determine to whom the...

I'm curious about the limits of my current method of sending out e-
mail w/ php and possibly alternatives.
Right now, I have a mysql DB of registered users. I have a PHP file
accessed daily that runs through the DB and sends e-mails (SMTP
mailer) w/ personalized messages (also from the DB) to the users.
Right now I've only got a few e-mails it needs to send per day so it
only takes a second or two for the file to load/run, but this may...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
