Hi,
I need to display columns in a data grid based on 7 different queries. Now I
have 32 questions:
1. Is it possble to have 1 single data adapter with 7 queries & 1 data set
or do I need to have a separate data adapter & a separate data set for each
select query?
If thats possible then how?

many-to-many relationship between Person and Course. Each time that I change
the value in the ComboBox (which for now is the OID of Person), the
information of the person matching the selected OID is shown in the Textboxes

I follow the Walkthrough documented on Visual Studio to create an editable
data grid but it does not work on getting the value of the textbox in the
data grid. The code is copied here. I mark "*****" at which the categoryName
always get the past value no matter what it has been changed. How do I fix

question regarding formating a column in a datagrid. My grid looks like

The first two columns are pretty much text column, but subsequent columns
1-12 are numerical. I'm trying to get the thousand separator to work. Any

Using Visual Studio 2003, C#, .NET 1.1.
I have a web form with a few textboxes, a couple of dropdown lists, and a
data grid. The data grid is populated from a SQL stored procedure. The user
can select a row to edit by clicking an EDIT link, which triggers an Edit

Is there a way to define how long the data columns are, display wise
on the Form?
Whether I am using a boolean field (checkbox) or a string field (text
url) each displays with the same size.
I know you can select all the columns and resize them after the fact,
but is there a way to set each columns size default so when it
displays it is not huge like for the boolean or cut off like for the
string field..

I have a gridview that uses a sqldatasource. The rows of the gridview are
editable. When the gridview is in edit mode, one of the columns is a
dropdown. In testing the editing, I deleted the dropdown entry from one of
the rows. So, when the gridview comes up, it shows nothing in the column
where I deleted it. Then when I select to edit that same row, I get an error
because I cannot select the value for the dropdown for a non-existing value....
