Hello!
We have following situation;
network with 100 users, aplication developed in Access, user DB
deployed on SQL Server.
Is it better to create query inside aplication (with code) and then pass
it to SQL Server for execution or is it better to have all these queries
saved like stored procedures and then called from aplication?

I am trying to create a dynamic SQL statement to create a view.
I have a stored procedure, which based on the parameters passed calls
different stored procedures. Each of this sub stored procedure creates
a string of custom SQL statement and returns this string back to the
main stored procedure.
This SQL statements work fine on there own. The SQL returned from the
sub stored procedure are returned fine. The datatype of the variable

I need help on this one. For the past two days, whenever I make a
modification to a stored procedure using enterprise manager (Apply),
the stored procedure stops working.
If I copy it under a new name, it works but as soon as I make a

Problem:
I have a custom class called Job and a custom collection called
JobsCollection.
I currently display the collection on a web page via a datagrid, and I have
a dropdown list that allows the user to select several diferent views. This
works fine.
My plan is to next allow the user to define views of thier own. I have found
several articles on creating a dynamic datagrid and this is the approach I

I want to create a web site that can dynamically creates tabs -- like
firefox functionality built into a web site.
Take a look at this site to get an idea of what I'm looking to do:
http://www.krugle.com/demos/Overview5_800.html
Now, I'm not looking to copy the entire interface from Krugle, but I am
very interested to understand how they are implementing those tabbed
panes. It's pretty brilliant because they're dynamic.

rows?
I have a Table1 which being dynamic can sometimes end up with now
columns what so ever. I'm using Table1 in one of my views along with 2
other tables and I would like put a condition at the...something like
AND Table1 IS NOTEMPTY
Is there a way to do this in MS SQL?

I've created a ASP.NET control that displays a "book" of schedules.
It dynamically displays scheduling times and allows the user to page through the schedules. It also lets the user edit the schedule times if the user has permissions to edit schedules.
When the user is not editing, or the user is not allowed to edit, the buttons that let the user edit are not displayed. If the user is allowed to edit schedules but they are not editing a link...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
