Just wondering if anyone has a solution for this problem ...

Hi! Guys,

I am using a base class and I am inheriting it into derived class page
instead of using System.Web.UI.Page. which is giving the following
error.

"The file could not be loaded into the Web Forms designer. Please
correct the following error and then try loading it again:

An exception occurred while trying to create an instance of
eNanny.eNanny.familyCore. The exception was "Object reference not set
to an instance of an object.".

Make sure all of the classes used in the page are built or referenced
in the project. Click Help for more information."

I am greatful to you

Thanks and Regards,

I take it this is when you are switching to the design view in vs.net? Is
the base class abstract (MustInherit in vb.net) ? If so, this is a known
limitation of VS.Net, if not, you might wanna do a google group search on
the error :
