When running an application through the debugger any edits to the source file will take VC7 about 5 min before it gives back control. It's trying to check dependencies or something like that.
Is there a way to completely disable it
I've tried all the Tools->Options->Debugging->Edit and Continue settings
VC6 had the same issue and the only way to completely disable it was to tweak some registry settings. I couldn't find that in VC7

I am using Visual Web Developer to create a basic database app. I put
in a grid view and Enabled Selecting on the gridview. What I would like
to happen though is when the person clicks select it opens up a
different EditItems.aspx page with the edit template so the user can
edit the exact item they have selected. I have seen how to do it on one
page but I would really like to keep the Edit Template on a seperate
page.

I would like to gray out or disable all of page content while a pannel is
visible and active. I know there is a way to do this.
psudo code
1. click "Join"
2. display panel and disable all other elements on the page
3. click cancel or procede: re-enable page elements and hide the panel
OK, i obviously know how to display the panel, but the disable part ....

I have one concern with me. My requirement is like this, If I enter a search code in in input text it has to navigate to Edit page, for single search page it works fine, But if it having multiple tabs in the single search page, then how to write the java script for that.
Here i am using the tomhawk component of <t:tabbedpane />

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
