Grid View text boxes adding ?

21 New Member
Hi,

How to add(sum) grid view text boxes. I was designed one grid view, in that grid view there is 7 text boxes in single row, i need to calculate total of these text box values dynamically. Means once we enter any value in any text box, that value is shown in "total" text box.

I just attached image also..

Small change , i just removed footer total.!!

It has to be done client side, try using some javascript. Define a sum function and triger it on the keydown event of each textbox.

When a user adds a record the grid goes in to edit mode and four text boxes appear, one is for the start date, another for an end date and the other two are for other data, the user fills in the fields and saves the data, all is great at this point, an entry is added ok. However the problem I...

I have a GridView which dynamically creates text boxes. It could be between 1 and 100 textboxes depending on how many records there are in the database. I need to loop through all the text boxes and to calculate a sum of all of them which I put into a label in the grid. I give the text box the name "txtAmount" but the GridView renames each text box so I never really know the final name.

Disclaimer: I've already come up with a solution for this issue, but I thought I'd post it in the hope that it could help someone else and on the off chance that someone has another solution. I have a form for machine operator tracking. The form shows training-stage tracking dates with a lot of performance information. On the form is a subform for reviews, which uses a set of unbound text boxes to show current data for a review, which is...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
