Hi,
I am new to vb.Net and need some info on vb.net studio. I write code for
webpages and upload to the server. The ISP does not let us to connect
neither to the web or db server directly and take advantage of debuging and
all the nice things that one can hope for when writing complex code. Going
through vb.net studio setup I was not able to get all the features working
and take advantage of intellisense (or code completion) without...

I am using VS.NET 2008 and like it a lot. One of the very few things I don't
like is a bug that seems to spawn literally thousands of strings, one
after the other, on design view changes. Sometimes I will end up with as
many as 30,000 of them. I have to do a "Replace" which is slower than I'd
like. This is slowing down my work a lot.
This might be related to a commercial control I'm using, or it may just be
VS.NET's indentation getting...

Hello,
I have just installed VISTA Enterprise and VS.NET 2008.
When pressing F5 to debug my test ASP.NET website, IE 7 display the message
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
The local URL that VS.NET 2008 generates is
http://localhost:49705/aaa/Default.aspx.
In IIS7 Manager, ASP.NET V2.0… is "Allowed" in the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions.
Also IIS7 is working and display ASP.NET web sites if I convert them to IIS7...

It seems like the VS.net 2008 editor is slow and buggy. Have you found this
to be the case?
A few times I am working and all of a sudden all my images are stretched
funny. I find out that behind the seens it modified the img tag width in my
css file.
Also, when dealing in split view with a page that is using a master page, it
seems slow and getting the properties to show up is a task.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
