In my application I have a ListView of files that meet certain criteria. I
have implemented drag/drop from this list to a second ListView of selected
items. This works well and will accept a filelist from windows explorer.
Now I want to be able to drag the selected items in the second ListView
(selected by checkbox) to an external application such as Media Player.
In my DataObject created to do the drag and drop internally I create an...

I am wringing a small and lite Media Player to fit my custom needs for
usage while programming.
I had written some drag and drop functionality like i do with other
programs, but hey, the ActiveX doesn't support Drag and Drop. I've been
checking loads of search results, but no dice, no info on how to add
drag and drop to an activex that doesn't has it by default, or a hack
to get it to use the drag and drop of the form itself, or...

I am currently experimenting a bit with
AxMicrosoft.MediaPlayer.Interop.AxWindowsMediaPlayer and so far, most
has gone well.
Currently, i would like to add drag-and-drop functionality to the
program, but the ActiveX has no support for it, so trying to use it
just causes error's.
What i have done is use a small label that i use for displaying current
progress in the media file to use the drag-and-drop functionality.

files:
Execution error:

load media "App_Data/xxx.wmv".

I enable the AllowDrop property but there is no DragDrop or DragOver events
for the WindowsMediaPlayer control? I want to be able to drag a media file
onto the control and set the URL property to the filename so it will play.
What I did in VB6 was create a image control over the top of the media
player control and because it was transparent without an image assinged I
could use the image control dragdrop event and drag files over it and...

I have a web site under .NET 2.0 that renders videos using the Silverlight
media player. The <asp:MediaPlayercontrol only works on .NET 3.5, but I
managed to get things working under .NET 2.0 by working with the javascript
rather than the server control.
The web page looks like this:
<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="video5.aspx.cs"
Inherits="GalleryServerPro.Web.video5" %>

Note: My apologies for repeating this post from last week, but my nospam
alias and profile account were incorrect. I think I have fixed this, so
hopefully this post will trigger MS into a response per their MSDN policy.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
