Asp.Net Silverlight Media and Xaml control

Bonjour,

With Asp.Net futures (Microsoft.Web. Preview), I can't use the Media and Xaml
controls (Silverlight). I've got this error messages, with several wmv
files:

Execution error:

Microsoft JScript: Sys.Preview.UI. Xaml.Media.Medi aFailedExceptio n: Unable to
load media "App_Data/xxx.wmv".

function Sys$Preview$UI$ Xaml$Media$Play er$_meMediaFail ed() {
this._naturaldu ration = null;
this._enableBuf fering(false);
this._mediaAvai lable(false);
this._ensureDur ation(false);
this._ensureSee king(false);
this._mediaEnde d = false;
this.set_captio n("");

var handler = this.get_events ().getHandler(' mediaFailed');
if (handler) {
handler(this, Sys.EventArgs.E mpty);
}
else {
throw this._getMediaF ailedError(); <------
}
}

Any idea ?
Oriane

Hi, I am currently working on a small Silverlight application, but cannot find out what is wrong in my HTML. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head>

I have a web site under .NET 2.0 that renders videos using the Silverlight media player. The <asp:MediaPlayercontrol only works on .NET 3.5, but I managed to get things working under .NET 2.0 by working with the javascript rather than the server control. The web page looks like this: <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="video5.aspx.cs" Inherits="GalleryServerPro.Web.video5" %>

I have a nested datagrid in a xaml file, the parent datagrid loads the vendor information and the details loads the documents for that vendor in a datagrid. Everything is working fine until I click in the child datagrid and then go to the combobox and choose another vendor. When the new vendor is loaded nothing shows in the datagrid but the itemsource shows the info is there. Know if I click on the child cell and then click back on the...

Note: My apologies for repeating this post from last week, but my nospam alias and profile account were incorrect. I think I have fixed this, so hopefully this post will trigger MS into a response per their MSDN policy. -------------------- I have a web site under .NET 2.0 that renders videos using the Silverlight media player. Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
