lightweight, fast graph control

Hi, I'm working on an intranet site that uses an Infragistics graph
control to display pretty basic 2d graphs with several lines, and
shows a pop up with the value when you hold the cursor over points on
the graph.

It works well, but during load testing the CPU and memory get thrashed
as these graphs are generated.

Can anyone recommend a lighter weight control please that puts less
load on the web server? Someone recommended ChartFX, but any other
suggestions would be good.

Cheers,

Tom.

I use this exclusively for charting both in WinForms and WebForms:

Does anyone have any suggestions about a good third party graph control. The one in Access seems confusing to use. Is there a control that could be said to be an industry standard? Jeff

Is MS Graph really completely useless in Access 97? I uninstalled and re-installed to get the Office 97 version of MS Graph, but I see no way whatsoever to insert dynamic data into the chart. The wizard has got to be the worst wizard I've seen in Access, because it assumes way, way too much about what you want. And then when you click FINISHED, what you get has absolutely nothing to do with what you chose for the graph.

I would like to set the value of the Y axes on my graph at runtime. I created the graph my opening a form and placing an unbound object frame on it then placed the MS Graph control into this. Next I copied / pasted this object into a report. How can I do this? I can't fiqure out how reference the MS Graph control in code. Thanks, TD

Am I going mad, or is there no control in .NET that will allow me to display a simple graph of a series of points held in an array? Please tell me I'm wrong. Charles

I would like some feedback on this. A while back I was trying my hand at some pathfinding for a small game I was making. I did not know anything about it so I read some stuff and came up with the code below. I was at the time quite satisfied with it, but reading stuff here has made me doubt it. Is this implementation valid? Is this implementation fast? The member TNode * Spread; I put it in there to

A97 Am having difficulty displaying graph in Form View that I see fine in graph control on form opened in design view. I know I'm doing something wrong. If I open the form in design view - I see the graph in the graph control. If I dbl-clik the graph control, microsoft graph opens and displays the graph fine there too.

Hi, I have been looking for a good way to convert python code into a control flow graph. I know of Python functions that will convert an expression into an abstract syntax tree (i.e. ast = parser.expr('(x+5)*5') then t = ast.totuple() then t), but I am not sure how to obtain a CFG. I've gone through the compiler and it has code that converts the AST

Hi guys, I have never touched really on this area before with forms and reports, and now I would like to be able to incorporate some graphs / charts for a new little app I am building, and I need some guidance. Can someone point me in the right direction? 1/ What is the difference between MS Chart and MS Graph? 2/ Which is better to work with for Access 97?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
