Dataset error w/MySql: Ojbect reference not set to an instance of an object

I just installed VS.NET 2008 w/SP1 and the MySQL Connector 5.2. Does the
DataSet feature work with MySQL? I created a new dataset, DataSet1.xsd and
tried to add a TableAdapter. In the TableAdapter Configuration Wizard when I
try to use the Query Builder I get the error "Object Reference Not Set To An
Instance Of The Object". Any idea why? In fact, I can't even drag the table
from the Server Explorer to the DataSet1.xsd interface. I get "Mouse drag
operation failed. Ojbect reference not set to an instance of an object." Can
you please help? This is urgent!

I have a web interface where the user types in ID's one at a time. After an ID is typed in, a button is clicked and the button click event has code that does a query and returns a data reader and then appends the data to a dataset that is built in the Page_Load code in the if(!isPostBack) block. When I try to add a row in the button click event code I get an error saying that "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". I'm...

I need to custom build and use a dataset in c# to use with xml. Does anybody know where I can find out how to do something like this? I was going to create a class that generated the dataset and its data to hide all of the complex (or should I say the huge chuncks of code) from the page itself.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
