Hello,
I have a datagrid in which the header needs to span over 2
columns. I have tried creating a tableCells and tableRow at runtime and
set the columnspan property of a cell to 2. But, the heading does not
look good and is not aligned to the datagrid columns. Is there another
way to do it?
Any help would be great!!

I am having some issues with a runtime dropdownlist in a datagrid. The
issue is that I cannot get ViewState to fill the selected index of a runtime
dropdown properly on postback. I do not want to use template columns as they
seem to be a little difficult to create at runtime. Any assistance would be
very greatly appreciated.

I'm giving this post another try - it can't be too difficult for
everyone....
In the program below, the web page has dataGrid1. the only thing that has
been done to it at design time is to check the "Create columns automatically
at runtime" checkbox - nothing else.
The code below does indeed create the visual grid as expected. Furthermore
the Cell contents and Item count all exist and contain expected values.

I want to use F6,F7,etc for an entire form.
Have key preview to true and it works everywhere but on the grid.
On the grid sometimes it works and sometimes not.
Appears that if I am in a cell and press one of them it won't work.
Any ideas?

datagridtablestyle defined. I use the datagridtablestyle to change the
order of the columns (so they can be different than the column order of the
datatable). I also allow the user to click on a column header to sort the
datagrid by that column.

I have a DataGrid and accept button. My problem is when a user starts to
edit one of the values in the grid and does not either press Enter or move
of the current cell and presses the Accept buton the current typed value
does not get passed into the grid, but stays in the edit mode. How can I
move the current edit value into the grid without requireing user to press
Enter or move to a different cell?

array to function as it has in the past without using the columns array.
The reason for this is because it must process columns created at run time
which does not create entries in the columns array.....
