I previously posted re. this, but thought I'd try again with a summary of
facts.
I have an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL Server 7 back end. There is a view that
is linked to the database via ODBC and has been in place for several years
without any performance problems.
Recently I added a couple of fields to the output of the view, and it...

Hello,
I'm having a slight problem with a tab form. The detail section height (where the tabs are) is bigger than the computer screen and every time I switch to form view this section is vertically centered and I have to scroll up to see the tab titles. Any idea on how I can make the tab titles appear without having to scroll up.
Thank you....

Hi; I'm implementing a fairly simple database table editting form in
ASP.NET 2.0 using the gridview. I enabled AutoGenerateEditButton to
add row editting functionality. One little quirk I'd like to iron out:
when I click the edit button, the page is reloaded at the _top_ of the
page, instead of at the row I clicked. So if I click to edit the...

I have an AJAX enabled web form with several data-filled GridView
controls. The users accessing this web app will navigate the site via
touch-screen monitors (i.e.: no mouse). As a result, I need an easy
way for them to scroll the GridViews when the data is not visible. I
want them to click on a button, which will then accordingly scroll the...

Hello,
I have created a GridView on runtime by implementing the ITemplate
class.
This Gridview displays a list of articles. Each article has a Title,
Content and PubDate.
I am trying to create a Date Header like in a blog, i.e., display the
date on top of every daily posts.

Hi, I have a problem whereby I have a gridview with many rows. If I select a
row from near the bottom and thus have to scroll down, when the control is
rebound and refreshed, how do I ensure that the selected row is visible on
the screen and the user doesn't have to scroll down to see it.
Thanx

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
