OK, I admit it - I'm a FrontPage user ! :-}
Now learning PHP and I LIKE it!
but - anyone had problems or offer advice about integrating PHP with
FrontPage extensions? Specifically avoiding corrupting them?
It seems to be a standard disclaimer from Hosting services that "activation
of FrontPage extensions will limit functionality of the control panel" and
you risk corrupting the Extensions if you activate some of the options....

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this or not but I am wondering if
it is possible to run a "mixed" website.
That is, use pages which leverage ASP.net where appropriate and pages which
leverage FrontPage Server extentions (I use FP 2000) on the same web site.
Is it possible?
Any trips?

Hi.
Is there any article that talks about the purpose of each of the
Frontpage extensions folders (_vti_cnf, _vti_pvt, _vti_script, and
_vti_txt)? When I create a new ASP.NET application, these folders are
automatically created.

We are currently running VS.NET clients against a Windows 2000 server
which has Frontpage server extensions; this means we can have teams of
developers interacting on web applications from remote locations over
HTTP without firewall issues.
However, Frontpage extensions have now been discontinued and replaced by

I'm trying to migrate to VS2005... I've managed to do that, but realised I'd
opened my web projects as file projects, and I'm getting the error about
network BIOS command limit.
Anyway, I decided to have a go at loading them as web projects from our
Win2k3 server. It gets so far and then says "The web server does not appear
to have FrontPage server extensions installed".

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
