Crystal Report adding wrong/duplicate assembly references inweb.cong.

Hi,

I got this really annoying problem. When I add a crystal report viewer
into my asp.net Form, it automatically added duplicate assembly in my
web.config as follows:

<add assembly="Cryst alDecisions.Web , Version=11.5.33 00.0,
Culture=neutral , PublicKeyToken= 692fbea5521e130 4"/>

<add assembly="Cryst alDecisions.Web , Version=11.5.37 00.0,
Culture=neutral , PublicKeyToken= 692fbea5521e130 4"/>

And this causes the ambiguous namespace runtime error when I try to
run my website. Could anyone kindly advice on a solution?

I'm using Crystal Report XI Release 2 with SP3.

Thanks,
Simon

I have studio 2003 and also have Crystal reports 9 installed on my machine The problem this causes is that its mixing up the version of the dlls to pick up. I am adding a Crystal report viewer 9.2 control and it adds references to the 9.1 instead of the 9.2 libraries which i want. I can change the references manually and change the version in the HTML file of the form and rebuild but I am not sure if the application will run. The dlls in...

In .Net, how can I go about and set a Crystal Reports namespace? Right now they use the Root Namespace (VB) from the project. How can I extend the namespace for a single report (which will be set on all reports)? Thanks for any and all help, in advance :) Mythran

Hi everyone, I recently wrote a vb.net app which includes some crystal reports. The user has very little money in their budget and have been without a working application for quite a while. This being the case I worked with what was available: I used vb.net and crystal 8.5. The crystal reports are being viewed in the crystal report viewer which is still included in vb.net. I went ahead with developing this project because I found that...

I built an application on a box with Business Objects XI, Crystal XI editor and Visual Studio 2005 on it. I'm trying to the ASP.NET 2.0 app to another server and am running into a version conflict. The references added in automatically in the ASP.NET app are for crystal assemblies version 10.2.3600, but those do not exist on the production box that just has Bus Obj XI on it, which only has 11.0.3300. I tried changing

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
