hi

try this

Open a new ‘Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt’. Once there type the
following command at the prompt, press enter and wait…

devenv /installvstempla tes

This will rebuild your item and project template cache

I found this tip here

One of my development PC's died, and I need to have legacy VS and VS.Net installed at the same time. On the now dead PC, I had VS6 installed prior to installing VS.Net. This worked just fine. On my working PC, I already have VS.Net installed, but not VS6. My question, will installing the older VS6 with VS.Net already installed give me problems with VS.Net. Or should I first remove the VS.Net, install VS6, then re-install VS.Net? Gerald

To overcome the issue regarding drag and drop web part capability in Firefox, I am attempting to use the webpart and webpartmanager from the Asp.net Futures. That is, the ones in the namespace 'Microsoft.Web.Preview.UI.Controls.WebParts' However, when I attempt to do this, I lose all drage and drop capability in all browsers and also the verbs menu's do not display consistently. I am wondering if it is anything to do with the fact that...

I think I have all the requirements for the futures Media control installed. I have silverlight 1.0 in IE7, silverlight 1.0SDK, asp.net 2.0, vs2005, asp.net futures and all that good stuff installed. I create a new asp.net futures website and drop a Media control on it. I hook it up to a media file and press control f5 to run it. The page starts but I have no media player of any kind. Any ideas why it doesn't work?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
