xslt: making use of edit/delete links and buttons?

I want to make an xslt file that formats and displays data from an XElement
object through an xml control. I need to have the xslt file show edit/remove
buttons next to each element/attribute that is displayed on the page. These
buttons/links do have to actually work in the sense that you can actually
edit/remove the particular element/attribute. Is there any way to do
something like this?

Newbie's question about .NET datagrid If I use: <asp:EditCommandColumn></asp:EditCommandColumn> When I edit a row, it will automatically show Update and Cancel Link. But when I use: <asp:Button id="btnEdit" runat="server" Text="Edit" CommandName="Edit" CssClass="clickable"Width="50px" /> When I edit a row, the Update/Cancel links don't show up.

Greetings from Snowy Charlotte... I am trying to create a dynamic web site that will be "skinned" based upon an authenticated user's information. This skinning could be extensive (entire change to the UI appearance) or more minimal with a measure of personalization such as the adding of links to a navigational menu option. I've done something similar to this in the past by putting all the appropriate data into a database table, but...

I'm working on a simple calculator similar to the MS Calculator in visual c++ 6.0. I'm trying to teach myself the visual aspect of c++ on my own time, so I've decided to jump right into a program after reading through a lot of material that has gotten me familiar with it. I have a result edit box at the top of the window which holds whatever is being typed in via the numerical buttons and arithmetic buttons (+, -, *, /). Each numerical...

A Form has a DataGrid which displays records from a SQL Server 2005 DB table. Users can modify the records using this DataGrid for which I am using EditCommandColumn in the DataGrid. This is the code: <script runat="server"> Dim sqlConn As New SqlConnection(".....") Sub Page_Load(ByVal obj As Object, ByVal ea As EventArgs) If Not (Page.IsPostBack) Then FillDataGrid()

I am not sure if I should post this here or in a potgre group, but I will start here. I recently got a new server and thus when I copied all the files to the new machine, I logically decided to upgrade everything to the newest versions. So my postgre got upgraded from 7.4 to 8.1 and my phpPgAdmin also got upgraded. Now though, I am only able to use the edit/delete buttons on some of the tables when browsing. I am not sure what is the...

I have 2 TextBoxes and an Add button on a page. When the user fills in the TextBoxes, the values are added to a dataset table. When the page gets done reloading, the TextBoxes are turned into readonly mode, the requiredFieldValidaters are set to disabled, the character counter for each textbox is made invisible and edit buttons show up next to the read only textboxes. I want to make the Add button invisible and then make a save changes...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
