Textbox size error limit

I seem to have hit some sort of limit of a textbox (multiline). It was
working fine for a while, but now I am getting a strange error having
nothing to do with the problem.

I have a Function that is called either from my Windows Service as well as
call as an .exe.

There is no actual error from writing to the text box, but as I am leaving
the call:

Application.Run (FileNameSetup( ))

It seems to be trying to run it again.

Sometimes the error has something to with trying to run on another thread
and sometimes it just says "Error creating window handle". But then it
calls the FileNameSetup() again.

It turns out that it happens when I am writing too many lines to the
textbox. At the moment it is writing about 1200 lines.

If I jump out of the code at around 500 lines, it seems to work fine.

I assume it has something to do with memory.

Is there some limit on the textbox, physical or logical memory related?

Thanks,

Tom

I am setting up a huge database in mysql, and I get the above error in Linux. I believe it is related to the size of one of my tables, which is 4,294,966,772 bytes in size. Can someone help. How can I break that barrier. I'm hitting the 255 character limit of a text box on a form and was wondering if anyone know how to get around this. Here the scenario.... - Access 2000 front end with Sql Server backend. - The textbound is bound to a field which is nvarchar*4000 (I know with an Access DB you have to use a memo field to get around the size limit, I would think nvarchar*4000 would be good enough) - The 255 character limit only occurs in the VBA code. ...

Hi all, I've got a C program which outputs all its data using a statement of the form: putchar(ch, outfile); This has worked fine for years until it had to output more than 2GB of data today, and I got a "file size limit exceeded" error.

Hello, I'm creating a sample portfolio application for MS-Access XP, and I'm wondering if there's a suitable replacement for the ms-access textbox control. I'm looking for something similar to an HTML textarea control, but without rich text formatting. I know you can just use a regular textbox and expand it, but it still has size limitations that I'm needing to overcome.

I have an Access database frontend linked via ODBC to a large (gigabytes) mysql database. I need to view a large amount of data in a a textbox (variable up to 300K), but I receive a 'there isnt enough memory' error whenever I scroll past N number of bytes in a textbox that has been filled with a lot of data. I am not sure what N is, but for a large chunk of data it occurs at about the halfway scroll, and smaller chunks might not throw...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
