Test post: Paypal

Just a test post to see if the mere act of mentioning paypal gets my message
excluded from this forum.

I ave tried twice today to ask question regarding cross-site posting to
paypal but the message never shows up :(

Hi Rory,

This post is showed correctly and I think your managed account also works
well.

So for the cross site posting question, would you provide some further
description on it? I'd be glad to help have a look on it.

Sincerely,

Steven Cheng

Hi All, I could do with some assistance... I am working on an ecommerce site in vb.net (aspx) I have built all my pages that perform the checkout process and gets to a summary screen where you check your data prior to making payment. The problem I have is that the external payment provider requires that I POST (GET is not allowed) the data to them where there site takes over and when complete returns back to the my site.

Hello, I am posting some credit card info to the payment server via a similar code. My code is written in VB.NET but uses the same approach. At the end however I do a response.write(streamReader.ReadToEnd()); ---------------------------------- string stringPost = Request.Form.ToString(); // remember a post is essentially a string delimited in a special way

I am creating a form on the server that I want to POST to a URL that's being called with Server.Transfer(). What's the simplest way to do that? A little background: I'm programming buttons that link to PayPal's shopping cart. PayPal wants an HTML form with data about the product selected (including price), and they provide sample HTML to create a hidden form to transmit the data when the 'Add to cart' button is clicked. It would be...

I want to programmatically create some POST data on a web server, then pass that data to another web page that the server calls, using Server.Transfer(). What's the best way to do that? I'm programming some buttons that link to PayPal's shopping cart. The shopping cart needs a bunch of data about the item being added, including price. PayPal's sample markup puts the data in a hidden form, which the button submits. I'm concerned about...

Hello, I'm building a simple shopping cart to work with PayPal. I'd like to have the user post his basket to my page, validate the input, then redirect him _with his validated form data_ to PayPal using header("Location:"). I could just have the user submit his form to PayPal, but then I don't have any control over what he submits (tweaking the form is easy). I can include the form data as a search string in the redirect URL but that creates...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
