Can multiple aspx pages be linked to the same code behind file?

dan
I have 5 aspx pages that I'd like to share the same code behind file. Those
pages have the same set of 'core' controls and object data sources. Is this
a good practice? It seems that VS2005 cannot handle it - gets into an
endless loop of reading the aspx files.

Any alternatives?
Thanks,

Hello - I am using Visual Studio .Net. I need an example of how to construct a class that can be used throughout a project where I can include its subs and functions in various pages in the project. I googled this and either I didn't use the correct words, or there doesn't seem to be much on it. Any help will be appreciated!

Hi, I'm putting together a project that uses ASP.NET in VS2005. It uses a single master page that is responsible for most of the heavy lifting. About 90% of the 200 pages have the same code-behind, so I implemented all of these pages so they would reference the same code-behind cs file, as follows: <%@ Page Language="C#"...

Here is my situation: I have an aspx file stored in a resource file. All of the C# code is written inline via <script runat="server"tags. Let's call this page B. We do not want to provide them with the code for our "base" set of web pages. Ideally, we would like the pages...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
