list of files in Gridview, using a treeview

Hi,

I've created a small webpage, containing a Treeview and a Gridiview.
The treeview is populated with all folders and subfolders of a
directory. so far, so good.

When clicking on a node in the treeview, I would like to display all
files
in that folder, in the gridview.

How do I catch the selected node change, triggering the gridview
update ?

Thanx

John

Does anyone know if it is possible to bind a gridview to a treeview. Ie. I want to be able to expand a treeview node and see a separate gridview for each node. The gridview will be filtered by a parameter specified by the treeview datasource (ie. ID). I have looked everywhere on the net and it seems that it cannot be done, or at least very difficult. Cheers

Is it possible to select an item on a gridview by clicking on it and then being able to click a link for example that says EditOrder in a treeview and have the EditOrder page open up viewing what you selected in the gridview? My EditOrder link is in a sitemap so I don't know if it is possible becuase you would almost have to pass a variable to the sitemap. What would be the easiest way to accomplish it?

A treeview control should be able to select various aspx pages in the site. (using sitemap) One content page will have a gridview, accessed through a content place holder while another aspx page will contain a report viewer, accessed through the same contentplaceholder. At least that is how I understand it. If I want the master page to contain a button to create an excel file from the gridview contents, how do I access the gridview on...

I'm trying to link a gridview to another gridview in a Master-Details architecture. But the Details list isn't filtering like it is suppossed to. It will show all items on page load and it won't remove any items when an item in the Masters list is selected. It shouldn't show anything until an item in the Master's list is selected and then only show the details which are associated with the selected item in the Masters list. I'm new to...

I'm new to C#. I am using the following C# method to populate a TreeView control. If you call this method once during the life of form then it works perfectly. If you call the method a second time (without closing and reloading the app) then the process list populates the TreeView control with varying degrees of success. Sometimes the process name shows up (or not), threads that can load modules are red while others are not and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
