Hi all
I am looking for a way to create reports using ASP pages or some third party
component. I am taking a look at crystal enterprise 8, but I am not sure
about the licencing etc. I have used this to create a web report, but the 5
user licence seems to restrict you for just having 5 explorer windows open.
I.e. it doesn't seem to be 5...

If I were to deploy components to clients whose Windows infrastructure is
unknown, ie. not sure they have Microsoft Exchange running or not, how would
I set up a kind of Dr. Watson like mechanism?
Does the SMTP class work? What do I need to know about the Collaboration
Data Objects for Windows 2000 (CDOSYS) message component?
If CDO as...

I have a asp.net application that will need to create a document/report from
data in a database. The user will fill out a form supplying various criteria
for parameters. I would like the document/report to then be displayed on
screen as well as the option to download in PDF format.
I am just wondering which is the best reporting development...

Hi,
I'm looking for an excel reporting solution to use in my ASP.NET
application. I don't want to use Crystal Reports (too poor for excel
reporting) and Reporting Services has requirements that the customer is not
happy with, so it's not an option either. I definitely don't want to use
Excel as a server component.
My requirements for...

Here's my issue. We've decided to replace a very critical (without it
the business would lose lots of money) departmental reporting system
with a built from scratch system based on .NET. The key component is a
datagrid (it really turned the CIO's head).
The issue is that the data source is Oracle. We've got a very complex
reporting...

Hello,
Most reporting components that I'm aware of do not like object graphs
with simple C# objects. (like Order - OrderItems).
Instead they require me to transform the structure into datasets. That's
so last century... ;-)
I'm looking for a reporting solution that can handle OO structures as
input data. Do you know one?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
