Hosting Control Panel

Hello All,

I apologize for this "SPAM" but can anyone recommend a hosting control panel
system for Windows? I'm in the market for a new system. I've been using Helm
and am not too impressed. What do you use?

Thanks,

* Plesk
* Ensim Pro
* cPanel

But... IIS7 is extensible using .NET and I expect to start seeing a whole
bunch of 3rd party solutions start to show up. It might not be a good time
to buy into one of the established providers for awhile. Let's say for
example until shortly after Windows 2008 Server is released.

Hi I need to access an access db via php. My hosting provider is using php version 4.3.10 on a windows 2003 platform. I think that php was installed with the Plesk for windows package/control panel. The scripts work on my dev box (winxp with iis5) but yet when I upload the scripts to my hosting provider I get the following error

"Although we do support the ASP.NET Starter Kits, we do not do the installation for you. You can run the installation file locally, then upload the kit. You will not be able to compile on the server. You will be able to set your .NET virtual directories through our web based control panel. This same support is available for DotNetNuke. We support the application, but not the installation. Please let us know if you have additional...

I'm looking to learn ASP.NET better and thinking about helping my church put together a website in order to do this. They need the help, I'd like the training, so I'm thinking of going this route to solve their needs. I'm wondering, though, if there are any hosts out there that do domain hosting that support ASP.NET and database connectivity without charging you an arm and a leg. And by database connectivity I don't mean Access, but rather...

I have the following situation: Need a user resizable user control. After much trying with user control I came across the idea of hosting the controls in a form marked as not TopLevel = false. This work fine for most cases, allowing the user to resize the form (and controls within the form. The forms them selves are create dynamically when the user drags a node from a listview to a panel (contained in a Usercontrol which is hosted by...

Just a quick question, How would I host a control panel applet (specifically, the Internet Options control panel) in a C# / .NET 2.0 program? Maybe I've missed something obvious while googling but I have no idea how to do it. I've pondered the Rundll32 method, but decided against it on recommendations of fellow coders...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
