Hi,
I've started to develop under Microsoft ASP framework, which allows
different lang. used in a ActiveX page. I wonder about possible
strategies to use Python modules from VBScript <%%> includes.
Right now I'm thinking about this approaches:
- create a COM server in Python to be able to call it from VB.
Drawbacks: cumbersome and (probably) slow.
- pure data exchange. Python code sets some data in global env. that is

Hi there
I have a program written by another company (it's a "web control" which
returns a web-page: can I compare this to a servlet in the Java world?),
which they think is causing problems on their server.
But no-one really knows if this program is at fault because the problem only
exhibits itself every once and a while, and the only thing they can see is
that their web-users suddenly stop receiving responses.

I use this:
Response.Redirect("/Files/myFile.xls") which is working fine but shows
address bar and I am trying to get rid of it.
So if I have the following, will this let me see excel file? If yes, can you
complete Response.Write?

Hi,
I have a custom class with a public method. I want to perform a
repose.redirect if an error occurs in the public method GetUserRoles.
Unfortunately, Visual Studio 2003 is throwing an error when I try to do
this.
I have imported the System.Web namespace and the same code works fine on a
..aspx page. Can you not perform response.redirects in a custom class that
is being called by another aspx page? Please help.

I'm setting up credit card payment through authorize.net and they have
the option to send a POST string back to my site once complete. I'm not
sure how to proceed. They don't have much to read about this, their tech
support seemed to think I've got the general idea though & said I might
have have my hosting server set up permissions to recieve POST data that
way.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
