This is a best practices question.
For a website where PHP is used, does it make sense to have both .htm and .php
files? In other words, for pages that have no active content there's no point
in naming them with a .php extension.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage to making all files .php, or the same for
mixing them with .htm files?
What do you do, and why?

I have a client who wants me to make a web page with a marquee on it. No
problem.
They want the text to be easily changeable. No problem.
They want it so that the text will appear about the same size regardless of
the screen resolution. Now that's my problem.
In a sense, they want it so that if the screen is 800x600 and the text would
be 1" tall, and then they make the screen 1600*1200, they still want the

Probably can't do this without adding properties/methods myself, but worth a

I would like to know if how, if possible, to get the URL of a
non-instantiated Page object. I don't think it's possible because it's not
instantiated. When a page does get instantiated, it can have more than 1
URL...correct?

Using Win XP SP2
I wrote up a XHTML file using notepad. Now I want my browser to open
it as a web page but it only sees it as a .txt file. I tried changing
the extension to .htm but its still a .txt file. What do I do?
