Nice to see you here.
The problem you mentioned is because ASP.NET 2.0/VS 2005 (different from
ASP.NET 1.X/VS 2003) by default use a "Web Site" based project model.
Therefore, you need to use "File-->New--Web Site...." instead of
"New--->Projecct" to create ASP.NET 2.0 web application. Here is a good

Also, after you installed VS 2005 SP1, you'll also get a "Project" type
like the VS 2003 web application(tha t can be created through
"New-->Project...".
