Hi,
Is it possible to make a html button invisible using javascript?
I can certainly disable it:
var x=document.getElementById('button2');
x.disabled=true;
//x.type = 'hidden'; // read only?
//x.visible = false; // doesn't exist?

Hello.
I've read many posts about disabling submit buttons, but I can't get
these answers to solve my problem.
I have a server side asp.net button, and under the button I have code
behind that does some simple processing, followed by a
response.redirect.
When the user clicks on this button, I would like the button to

Hi,
I have a Repeater control which is bound to a dataset. In the footer of the
repeater control, I have a Button whose visibility I want to vary according
to the sum of a column being > 0.
I have tried to set the button's visibility in Page_Load (after data
binding), but I get a NullReferenceException stating that "Object reference

Thought I'd share this since it took me a long time to get it working.
Thanks to a bunch of contributers in Google Groups who shared

and have an HTML reset button click clear 1) all validator text display
and 2) validation summary display. Problem was...

Say you have a webform with some fields and a button on it. When the user
clicks the button, the buttonclicked event gets fired on the server, it does
some processing, which includes creating some db records, and then redirects
the page. What is happening sometimes is that the server is a bit slow and
the page seems to sit there, so the...

Is there an easy way to wait on a button click?
I want to be able to show a div and then when the user presses the mouse
button, to then hide the div.
I can make it happen with a setTimeout to wait for 10-15 seconds, but I
would like to show it until the user presses the mouse.
Thanks,

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
