I work for a tool & die shop, and we have an Access DB that captures
work performed on each job we do. Each job could have 5 or more
entries for work performed on it. I am trying to create a query that
will only display the last activity performed, for each job.
Please note, I do NOT have the Find Duplicate Query Wizard, and need
to know how to create the Query with out the wizard.

I am creating a database of documents that need to be worked on, are int eh proress of being worked on, and have been completed. Sometimes the same document (an updated version) comes back for more work. I am keeping all the info in one table and using an Index numberas my Primary Key. I am quite new to access and having diffulty.
I have created 2 tables with all the same fields, ex. forename, surname,
email address.
on one table1 I have all the names I need to e-mail, with all there info..
on the other table2 I have copied from a shared worksheet, where the user
enters there forename, surname, email address.
How can I run a query to see if there is any names missing from table1,from
my table2.

I have been able to set up a Find Record Button on my switchboard to
take me to a form with the correct case number by using a parameter
query and macro.
When I try to run the Find Record button from the macro on the form I
want to find the record in it just sits there and does not run.
Could someone tell me how to fix this? Please be specific as I am new
to Access.

Hi All,
Is there anyway I can select an option button by clicking a command
button? From what I have found out so far, unlike a check box, and option
button has no value so I can't assign it one.

In my page initialize, I am loading dynamic controls for a survey. On the
survey, I have a stop button. If the user clicks the stop button, because of
the page life cycle, the initialize and page load events run before the
button click and reloads a bunch of controls. Is there a way to keep these
events from running with a button control. The click event of the button has

Hi all
Bit of an obscure one this, but hopefully someone will be able to help.
4 years ago we had a potentially catastrophic problem with our Access
database.
From memory it was written in Access 2000, but is now used on Access 2003.
The problem surrounded the Find button created using the wizard. There was
some issue with this procedure and linked tables.

Jumped for joy last night after learning, indeed, the command button wizard can be switched on or off. Well this occured here, with my Access 2000...an attempt to redo at work failed.
