consuming web service with SOAP toolkit in sql server 2005

hello, i have a webservice in computer A.

computer B will access computer A webservice through a proxy server

using IE, computer B loads the WSDL nicely

however, using Soap toolkit, it throws error :

WSDLReader:XML Parser failed at linenumber 0, lineposition 0, reason
is: The download of the specified resource has failed. HRESULT=0x1:
Incorrect function. - WSDLReader:Load ing of the WSDL file failed
HRESULT=0x80070 057: The parameter is incorrect. - C

seems to only happen if i use proxy. is there a setting on computer B
that i can tweak to make it work?

Hi all, I am trying to consuming a .NET web service from a standard (classic) ASP page. I have come across a few articles which describe that it can be done as follows (after installing the Soap Toolkit 2.0): <html> <head> <title>Calling a webservice from classic ASP, using the SOAP Toolkit</title> <body>

While I am able to consume methods on the service that return simple type, I cannot consume methods that return complex objects. I have tried experimenting, with this, but am at a bit of loss on where the problem lies. When I call the services from a browser, I do get back the response that contains valid...

Hi all, In a project I'm working on, I need to call web services methods based on information that is given to my client program only at run-time. I get the wsdl url, the name of the method to call and the parameters to use. While that would not be a problem with the old SOAP toolkit, I found no way to call webservices in VB.NET 2005 at run time. All the articles, whitepapers, tutorials,... start with "in solution

Hello everyone. Currently the only version of Visual Studio I own is VS6. I have developed a Web Service using VC++ 6 and the Soap Toolkit 3 Microsoft deployed prior to the .NET Web Service support. It has since been deprecated. I cannot afford to get a newer version of Visual Studio currently, so I am stuck for the moment using VS6. The client is a c++ application that connects via the low level connection technique described in the...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
