Hi,
I'm running Python2.3.3c1 on Mandrake 9.1
The following code is designed to bring up a window with a button labeled
"popup". Clicking on the popup buttons triggers a secondary window with a
button labeled "ok". The second window is supposed to be modal - it should
not be possible to reset the focus back to the first window or close the
first window without first closing the second. The program works just fine
in Windows XP...

I have a class that based on a timer will pop up a dialog based on a
lasped amount of time.
The problem is that in the timer elapsed event I create and use
ShowDialog to show the timeout form:
frmTimeout dlg = new frmTimeout();
dlg.ShowDialog(dlgOwner); <-- dlgOwner if the IWin32Window of the
window in focus

Can a Modal Dialog Box do forms ASP.NET forms validation from within the
Modal Box? I want to pop up a dialog box to the user and have it do its own
post backs with validation checking and then save the data and close the
dialog when the page is valid. I have read a little about using Iframes to

I am using Andy Smiths Dialog windows, which work really well.
My only problem is I am trying to make the Dialogs Modal.
Someone mentioned putting <base target="_self"> into the head section of
the modal window to make it work. I tried putting it both pages just to see
if it would work and it doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone know how to make these modal?

I Want Access FIND&REPLACE to stay in FIND mode.
Can I place the (Access FIND&REPLACE Dialog) in a popup/modal dialog
form? I need to
control this process to prevent the user from pressing keys on the
MainForm that
will cause the Forms AllowEdit to become True, in-turn putting REPLACE
back on!
I DONOT want this to happen.

hi
i am using a ajax modal popup to allow the user to search an item and select
the required item from the list.
whenever i try to search the item, which causes a post back....the modal
popup disappears/becomes invisible...
in general, any postback fired from within the modal popup makes the modal
popup disappear.

I have created many shortcut/popup (aka context, or right-click) menus for my
application - instead of toolbars or standard drop-down menus.
Within my custom menu, I am using =ShowMainMenu("item") in the On Action
event where ShowMainMenu is a public function in frmMain, and "item" is a
string mapping to a button click event.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
