Hi,
I work on a VB6 software using ADO to connect to Oracle 9.2i.
When I create a recordset based on a query containing a "inner join" clause
(sql server syntax, the software connects also to sql server and the "inner
join" syntax must be preserved for a large fraction of the queries), AddNew
and Update methods fail.

I have made an application on a development machine and it works just fine,
when I try to deploy it to production I am getting the following error
'OraOLEDB.Oracle.1' Provider Not Registered
I can't seem to find any information on how to correct this problem. Anyone
else have this issue?

I'm trying to get Access 2000 to connect to Oracle using the OraOLEDB.Oracle
provider. When I try to connect I get the message:
"Provider cannot be found. It may not be installed properly."
I can connect fine with the MSDAORA provider.
I googled for help on this, there were many discussions regarding ASP and
..NET but couldn't find a solution that helped.

I have a few apps written in PHP, running on Fedora Core. After porting
these applications from PostgreSQL to Oracle a bug appeared: sometimes,
not in a reproducable manner, the web page does not appear in the
browser and after examining the html source in the browser I notice
that the code is cut in half, somewhere after about the first 3-4
kbytes.
It happens quite often, once in every two minutes. The problem was not

I have a 64 bit SQL Server 2005 SP2 on a Windows 2003 x64. The
developer said that he needed to use OLE to talk to Oracle so I went
to Oracle and downloaded the 64 bit OraOLDDB driver as recommended in
a MS note.
I can connect to Oracle via tnsping and using SQLPlus but I cannot
create a linked db successfully.
The linked database errors off with >Cannot initialize data source
for OLE provider "OraOLEDB.Oracle" for Lined Server "X"...
