ASPX pages and height/width style attributes in table cells

JM
I'm using VS2005 SP1. It seems to me, when I used VS2003, the IDE
would only insert height and width attributes in table cells if you
dragged to resize a cell. Now, with VS2005, I get the style
attributes whenever I drop a control into a cell or add content, and
it's ANNOYING. Does anybody know of a way to get designer to stop
slapping style attributes in table cells?

I dont want the user to be able to scroll vertically so I need to set the height of the div at runtime based on the number of table rows generated. Ideally I want the div scrollbars to sit just underneath the bottom of the table. I have looked around and haven't found...

Hello, First and foremost I'll describe a bit about my problem: I'm trying to make a site layout using ASP.NET 2.0 in Visual Studio .NET 2005 Beta 2. The site is a table based layout that is supposed to consume the entire viewing area (oldschool HTML was <table width="100%" height="100%">). This is not as easy as it sounds using the forementioned technologies. I am using some ASP.NET 2.0 controls that specifically depend on the way...

I have a web form that contains a repeater control that is designed to ask like a check book register. Clicking on a certain transaction takes the user to a different .aspx page where it can be edited and then saved. Currently, after saving the edited transaction and returning to the check register, the repeater control table returns to the bottom. I would like the edited transaction to appear in the table instead. I know that a JavaScript...

I have found numerous iterations of server classes creating controls and adding them to web pages. However, I have never found any uses with the databind. I would like to set the text of the object to a databind call, not just a string value. Textbox1.Text = <%# DataBind.Eval("Col001")%> The key to my design is; the class determines the controls needed from the SQL view that is presented to the page. This would allow me to custom...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
